Info

2.8%—was the persentage of the overall news coverage in the United States that was devoted to the war in Afghanistan in 2010, the deadliest year of the conflict, according to a study by the Pew research Center. In the same year the Afghan war passed the Vietnam war in being the longest conflict that the U.S. has been fighting in during its entire history. I have been working in Afghanistan on assignment for the New York Times as well as independently between 2004 and 2013. My pictures from Afghanistan appear in War Porn, hello camel, and Rumors of War.
